As an ad agency, we take our work seriously. Nevertheless, there are times when we just like to have fun—especially when it comes to promoting our own company.

For the past six years, it has been our pleasure to help the great folks at Good Earth Market with some of their marketing needs. If you love the co-op as much as we do, you’ve probably seen our ads in their newsletter. We have to admit that we’ve had some fun with them.

In our most recent ad, we took the chance to bring something new to our ad—a puzzle of sorts featuring well-known food idioms. We’re lucky enough to have an illustrator as part of our team; Cole whipped it up for us in no time.

So can you identify all 8 of the common phrases that have been hidden?  Maybe this will help:

Now, here’s the lesson in all of this: there are a lot of ways for companies to grab attention and tell a great story through their advertising. For Kinetic, sometimes it’s coming up with unexpected, lighthearted ads that show our support for a client; for your business, it might mean injecting humor into an ad or finding a new way to demonstrate who you are or what you offer via intriguing graphic design, photography or video.
