First Impressions Last – Especially in Healthcare!
Paula Folz Writer
They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression. In healthcare, where comfort and trust are as crucial as the care itself, first impressions can be the cornerstone of a successful patient-provider relationship. That’s where Kinetic comes in! We’ve said before that we love video—it’s our specialty, and as a writer, strangely enough, developing long and short-form videos also happens to be my favorite way to tell stories and one of my absolute favorite things to do. But when it comes to the healthcare provider videos we do, we aren’t telling our own story; rather, we’re getting to know providers themselves and giving them a space to tell their own—and there is a lot more value than you might think in doing so.
Why Provider Videos?
Today, it’s increasingly common for first patient-provider interactions to be virtual—and I’m not necessarily referring to tele-doc appointments. Most people really do a ton of research before selecting their new physician or healthcare organization—so it’s important to get out there and give prospective patients a glimpse at the real “you” right? The level of care, compassion and expertise any one provider may have can’t be expressed on “Healthgrade.com.” These videos allow providers and healthcare systems the chance to extend a warm, personal welcome, easing anxieties and humanizing healthcare services—they narrate stories, share visions and express care philosophies that align closely with patient expectations and needs.
At Kinetic, we understand that every healthcare professional has a unique story that deserves to be told. We collaborate closely with each provider to unearth these stories and translate them into high-quality video content that resonates and reassures.
Our approach combines beautiful videography with a deep understanding of healthcare marketing. And we take this responsibility seriously because we know that we are literally connecting patients with providers before they ever meet in person. By reducing the unknowns, these introductions can significantly diminish patient anxiety, making them feel more comfortable and confident about their upcoming healthcare experiences.
Yes, our videos inform and educate but they also comfort and connect by:
Alleviating Anxiety
Our videos help strip away the sterile anxiety of clinical settings, making room for comfort and calm—even before the first appointment.
Driving Engagement
Like the best wellness tips, our videos are shareable and relatable, making each click a step toward community health.
Correcting Misconceptions
Particularly in rural areas, our videos help combat myths about healthcare availability and quality, proving that local providers are as equipped and caring as any big-city facility.
Why Kinetic?
Choosing Kinetic means more than just high-quality healthcare provider videos; it means embracing a partner who is deeply invested in transforming how patients view and interact with healthcare practices. We are more than video creators; we are storytellers, patient advocates and your partners in building trust-filled patient-provider relationships.
In healthcare, the best relationships start with the best introductions. With Kinetic, your first impression will set a powerful, positive tone for the patient experiences to follow. Let us help you turn those first glances into lasting connections.
