Recreational Adventures Company (RAC)

As KOA’s largest franchisee, Recreational Adventure Company (RAC) operates 12 independent campgrounds from the mountains of West Virginia to the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Washington coast. While still operating under the larger KOA umbrella in terms of some branding and activities that they offer, the RAC campgrounds all have their own look and feel, and therefore require sometimes robust creative solutions. All of the properties require that we look at the individual needs of each campground and create a common experience to inspire new and repeat customers to spend time at a RAC property.

RAC properties are spread across the U.S. and include such locations as Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA in West Virginia, Astoria/Warrenton/Seaside KOA Resort in Oregon and New York City North / Newburgh KOA in New York. For these properties, we bring a coordinated approach to reach repeat customers and new campers with digital ads, direct mailers, welcome folders, and emails. Keeping all materials within KOA brand guidelines, we tell the individual stories of each property, making sure that we can entice new campers, reassure seasonal regulars, and make the campground new and exciting every year.
