In the world of professional sports, the teams are run off of partnerships, alliances and arrangements. Loenbro Motorsports, owned by Kinetic client Loenbro and managed by driver Steve Arpin, was under-partnered. The team had the backing of a major motorsports organization — Chip Ganassi Racing, but wasn’t getting the personal attention it needed to get sponsorships. The team turned to us to get sponsorships in this highly competitive field.
Tasked with making cold contacts at major companies with big barriers, we created an extensive sponsorship plan, identified good targets, and created interest materials to open doors for them. We were the entity making the phone calls and connections, having conversations and driving sponsorships forward. We also created a website for Arpin along with a social media plan.

Lots of Great Work
We created a direct mail campaign with a video-playing deliverable that won a Silver ADDY award in 2016. Our hard work paid off and we helped broker relationships with Yeti, Jacob Companies, JCB, Flexsteel and Derive, for corporate sponsorships. In 2017, Aprin became an ambassador for KOA Care Camps, helping raise funds to send kids with cancer to special oncology camps. We produced sponsorship materials to support that relationship and celebrate Arpin’s Care Camps race weekend in Seattle.
In 2018, we produced news releases announcing that Loenbro Motorsports is now teaming up with Ken Block and his Hoonigan Racing Division to compete in select events of the new Americas Rallycross Championship (ARX).
