Kinetic Attends the Mirren Conference in New York — and brings back NEW strategies!

This May, members of the Kinetic team had the privilege of attending the well-known (and very cool!) Mirren Conference in NYC! Dana Pulis, our Owner and Founder, Shelby Kalb, our Strategic Director, and AJ Doherty, Director of Development and Growth, immersed themselves in the Big Apple and came back with even bigger ideas!

A Learning Experience Like No Other

The event featured over 60 industry innovators leading 30 insightful sessions that focused on cultivating an agency growth engine that is faster, smarter and more impactful for our clients. A significant portion of the conference was dedicated to exploring the latest technological advancements and their impact on the industry. Innovators shared their forecasts and strategies for integrating new capabilities, particularly in the area of technology and AI. 

The sessions tackled conversations head-on, leaving our attendees with thought-provoking questions and discussions to take back to our team. It was incredibly inspiring and reassuring to know that other agencies are experiencing the same challenges and successes.

The conference was well-organized, with great sessions, impressive leaders and ample networking opportunities. Plus, it was super fun! People in our industry know how to balance serious work with a seriously good time! One of the highlights was squeezing three-deep into a taxi, with AJ hilariously stuck in the middle. Also, SOOO much food. No joke. The team took the New York restaurant scene very seriously.

Connecting with Industry Leaders

One of the highlights of the conference was the opportunity to connect with some of the brightest minds and thought leaders in the industry. The atmosphere was charged with the excitement of shared goals and mutual inspiration. Our attendees also had the crazy-cool experience of meeting representatives from impressive businesses and brands like Google, Adobe and Wieden+Kennedy.

Key Takeaways and Benefits for Our Clients

The biggest takeaway? Finding opportunities in problems — what we now call “problem-tunities.” In today’s climate, we need to do more with less and do it better. Although many of the principles discussed at the conference were somewhat agency-focused, they all have a direct impact on the satisfaction with and impact of the work we do for our clients. Kinetic’s nothing if not committed to staying proactive, nimble, agile and ahead of the trends

From Manhattan to Montana, we brought back the New York buzz! We are energized and ready to apply what we’ve learned. Who knew that cramming into tiny taxis and devouring New York pizza could lead to such groundbreaking ideas? At Kinetic, we’re all about collaboration, continuous learning and embracing new technologies and the next big thing. The Mirren Conference reinforced these values and gave us fresh ideas, inspiration and some pretty key information that we can’t wait to pass along to our clients to continue taking them to the next level.
